Breast cancer shows no discrimination, and affects thousands of Australians each year. So, to help find a cure for this deadly disease, Tamil Youth Organisation will be selling appams!!!We will be serving pancakes alongside appams - a traditional Tamil dish, to highlight our mixed identity and to make the event interesting by offering the wider Australian community a chance to experience our Tamil culture. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, falooda and lassi will also be available to quench your thirst.
Details: Date: Wednesday 24 October 2007 Time: 6 - 9am Venue: Wynyard Park, Wynyard AND Date: Saturday 27 October 2007 Time: 9am - 12pm Venue: Strathfield Square (opposite the station), Strathfield Food: Appam - bowl-shaped thin pancakes made from rice batter. You can choose between milk appam or egg appam
Lassi - a refreshing drink consisting a blend of yoghurt and spices.
Falooda - a sweet rose flavoured milk based drink.
Coffee, hot chocolate and traditional Tamil tea will also be served.
