Sept/Oct - EDITORIAL
The Annual Gayatri Maha Yagna for World Peace, organised by the Sri Gayatri Group of Sydney, was performed at the Castle Hill Showgrounds from 2nd to 3rd September 2006. The yagna was led by Chaityananda Natha Saraswati (known as Aiya) from the Rajarajeswari Peetam, New York, USA.
Few hundreds Hindus participated with devotion. At the time of turmoil all around world, Sydney Hindus have gathered in a beautiful open-setting, outside the busy Sydney to conduct such an event. Gayatri Matha housed in Baulkham Hills once again was honoured by the devotees through puja, mantra chanting, yagna and abhishekam.
The participants received their inspiration by performing yagna by themselves. The participation of Aiya and Amma brought a new dimension to this annual yagna. The dedication of the Sri Gayatri Group, Sydney once again contributed to the success of Gayatri Yagna for World Peace. May the positive and divine vibrations created by the Gayatri Yagna radiate to provide everlasting peace around the world.
