A Newsblog Titled AsianTribune.Net recently published an unverified profile of KT Rajasingham. One of TamilSydney.com reader, who happened to be the classmate of KT Rajasingham confirms as follow, "...In the 1980s he functioned as an organiser of the SLFP in Point Pedro; he threatened teachers and was a "catcher " for the SLFP.iI suppose he must have made money doing political-related favours for innocent people, who did not know that they were dealing with a bribe -master...."

Full Text from asiantribune dot net is for Our Reader's Judgement;
Place of Birth: Point Pedro, Jaffna.
Marital Status: Married twice (to sisters), and has two daughters with first wife.

Started career working as newspaper vendor on the streets of Jaffna and slowly progressed to status of manager at the Neliyadi Multi Purpose Cooperative Society (MPCS) by late 70s.

Arrested by (PointPedro) Sri Lanka police in 1979 as prime suspect in the theft of several hundred thousand rupees from the Neliyadi MPCS and released on police bail.

Disappeared while on bail and escaped to BankHong. All Criminals can escaped to their because free Visa.

His House No: 8/6, Muban Amoronpan Nakorn, Sukapibal Road 2, Suan Siam, Bangok 10230, Thailand.

While in Thailand became introduced to 'Omega' Varathan, so called because he housed all his smuggling 'commodities' at the Omega hotel in Bangkok. Partnered with 'Omega' Varathan in his people and drug smuggling empire.

Interestingly, Rajasingham was introduced to 'Omega' Varathan by none other than TBC radio's V Ramaraj.

Ramaraj hails from a small estate village in the upcountry. As a teenager, Ramaraj went to work in Batticaloa and managed to gain the trust of a jewelry shop owner there.  While owner was on a business visit, Ramaraj stole several kilograms of gold and escaped further north.

He latter joined the PLOTE group and became their main jewelry salesman. At that time, PLOTE was perfecting the art of bank thefts, which often yielded several kilograms of gold from the safes.

Ramaraj grew from strength to strength and became a major drugs baron in the south-east Asian market. He was well known to both Rajasingham and Varathan, and the trio worked together during the late 80s.

Rajasingham – Ramaraj – Varathan partnership smuggled thousands of people and tons of narcotics to all corners of the world. Meanwhile, Rajasingham also registered himself at the UNHCR offices in Thailand, using contacts made by his eldest daughter.

During the 90s a serious of arrests were made in Colombo's casinos and brothels. Hundreds of Thai girls and women were arrested on prostitution charges. Almost all the arrested had been smuggled into the island by the Rajasingham – Ramaraj – Varathan trio.

The three went into hiding, sold many of their publicized assets and sought alibis.

Both Ramaraj and Rajasingham seem to have found their alibis in anti-Tamil and anti-LTTE rhetoric.

While, Ramaraj skived from country to country giving candy to respective police forces Rajasingham remained in Thailand concentrating on building himself an unshakable alibi.

It is well known that Ramaraj escaped prison sentence in Switzerland and went as far as gaining British citizenship only because of his anti-Tamil rhetoric via his TBC radio. Since its inception TBC radio has not broadcasted a single advert. So how was it all paid for? If we are to believe informed individuals, the radio was funded with money made in Thailand.

Rajasingham also did the same.

AsiaTribune was a project for Rajasingham to turn his black money into legal tender.

Undoubtedly it is AsiaTribune that has got Rajasingham to Sweden, free from Thai police for his activities there for over a decade. It is also AsiaTribune that has cleared him with the Sri Lanka police.

Although Swiss police finally caught up with Ramaraj, Rajasingham still enjoys the hospitality of the Swedes.

Rajasingham's life story seems to be an aspiration for all criminals. To have all your crimes whitewashed, just start a web log and write a few lines a day criticizing the Tamil people's freedom struggle.

Rajasingham Kanapathipillai Thambiraja, Carl Wahrens V. 22 B,763 34 HALLSTAVIK, Sweden.
