 War savy Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapakse Saturday morning visited Vaharai region together with his Commanders and the Defence Secretary, his brother, Gotabhaya Rajapakse, to showcase as a symbol of military victory in invading tamil strong held. During the visit a Sri Lanka Army soldier explained him the dynamics of landmine and he reassured them Sri Lankan government wont sign the Ottawa Treaty banning land mines.
