![]() Australian Parliamentarians Don Randal and Senator Steve Hutchins are due to to visit Sri Lanka on a fact finding mission, funded by Australia - Sri Lanka Friendship Group, sources said. Unconfirmed reports says that, these two parliamentarians request to visit war torn towns in North East of Sri Lanka, including Trincomalee ( where 17 French air workers have been massacred by Sri Lankan Army ) , Vaharai ( where several thousand tamils are displaced ) and Jaffna has been turn down by High Commissioner K.Balapatabandi, as it will expose the current reality in Sri Lanka.

Human rights activists urge Hon Don Randal MP and Senator Steve Hutchins to visit war torn areas and assess the situation directly rather than performing a arm-chair review in Sri Lankan capital Colombo. Sri Lankan - Human Rights Organisations, Aid Groups, Parlimentarians & General Public who are concerned with Sri Lankan Crisis and would like to make a representation are encouraged to make an appointment with Hon Don Randal MP and Senator Steve Hutchins.
