Aum Muruga Digest - Aum Muruga Society, Sydney, Australia
July/August - EDITORIAL
In Australia, opinion on stem cell research is divided among the public and the politicians. Apart from religious and moral reasons, some oppose the stem cell research fear that it may leads to unethical human cloning. Whatever the merit of such a fear, creating human life and destroying it in the name of scientific research is questionable from a Hindu religious point of view. Is it ethical and moral to use stem cell based treatment to treat the incurrable diseases? Creating and destroying a human life should be left to the almighty alone. This issue of Aum Muruga Digest
