Apart from religious and moral reasons, some oppose the stem cell research fear that it may leads to unethical human cloning. Whatever the merit of such a fear, creating human life and destroying it in the name of scientific research is questionable from a Hindu religious point of view. Is it ethical and moral to use stem cell based treatment to treat the incurrable diseases? Creating and destroying a human life should be left to the almighty alone.
