For me, staying positive really helped me perform to my best. Don’t worry about small glitches in your SACs, just keeping going till the end. Year 12 isn’t always about acing everything but learning to deal with your weaknesses and overcoming your mistakes. One of my teachers once told me, “Good students make mistakes, but good students don’t make the same mistake twice”.
I felt that things like writing down and keeping track of mistakes I make in exam papers and then later checking over them before exams really helped. Don’t be afraid of trying new styles and approaches in your SACs; what’s most important is finding out what works for you. Choosing subjects that I really loved kept me engaged throughout the year and a long term ambition to study medicine kept driving me through the year.
