Sydney Tamil Manram Inc. is one of the oldest associations established in NSW for Tamils and Tamil speaking individuals for the past 32 years. In its long time score it has offered strong support to the Tamil cause and its culture. It has voiced its concern to protect Tamils and their integrity always and very strongly towards for the rights of Sri Lankan Tamils during their crisis. It has provided that strong support by participating in the processions and undertaken signature campaign and represented to Indian High Commission at Canberra. In short STM believes all Tamils are one and is generous to accept anyone who respects & enjoys Tamil in its fold.
In maintaining that tradition of appreciating all Tamil achievers, we would like to facilitate a young Tamil achiever from Canada who took a Tamil movie "1999" which has niched itself in the Guinness Book of Records as a movie taken in shortest duration and is being also selected for official screening in International Movie Festivals. This movie blossomed entirely with the efforts of Eelam Tamils who settled in Canada. This movie is now scheduled to screen in Canada & Germany and in Australia we have cheerfully taken that credit. Kindly refer to the attachment poster and other details. I am very pleased to know that our esteemed Association with wide membership is working for the benefit of Tamils and also in the same line of our spirit. I would like to share the same spirit with you in promoting a young Tamil's debut and would seek from your Association to give wide circulation to all with in our members and to others as well. I would appreciate this help very much.
