A Sri Lankan website reported that 5 Journalist who are currently doing dirty work for Rajapaksa brothers are planning to seek asylum in Australia as defeat of rajapaksa is imminent. ".. Our sources in the Ministry of Media reveled to us that there are at least five (05) media heads, who have obtained VISAs to Australia during the past few days. They are, Anusha Pelpita, Director of Information, Mahinda Abeysundara, Editor of “Dinamina”, Hudson Samarasinghe, Chairman, Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation, Anura Siriwardene, Chairman, Independent Television Network and Sudharman Radaliyagoda, Programs Director of ITN.

In addition to the above, Joint Managing Director of TriAd, which conducts the media campaign for the President, Dilith Jayaweera and Kalpa and Udara Palliyaguru of “Mind Four” too have obtained Australian VISAs to be ready to leave the country by about the 25th January 2010, when all the signs of a certain defeat of the president is imminent..."
