Shock and fear gripped Trincomalee again as the Armed Forces that criss-crossed the town in fury on Friday night killed three Tamil civilians all under 31.Jeyarajah Jeyatheepan, 23, Achuthan sasikaran, 31, and Niroshan Patrick, 19, were first abducted by unidentified armed men before they were killed. The three were from Anbu Velipuram and Chelvanayagapuram in Trincomalee.

One dead body lay abandoned at Chelvapuram, while the other two were recovered around Alles Gardens.

The bodies were ordered by the Trincomalee Magistrate to be taken to the mortuary at the Base Hospital in Trincomalee for a post mortem examination.
