Sri Lankan army and police interrogate hundreds of minority Tamils in Capital City Colombo PDF Print E-mail
Sri Lanka Army and Sri Lanka Police on Friday thoroughly searched and interrogated hundreds of Tamils in Colombo, according to sources.Army and police jointly launched a search operation in Fort and Bambalapitiya who stopped passenger buses and other vehicles and interrogated Tamil passengers and pedestrians, sources said. There was no official announcement that how many Tamils were arrested during the search that continued for more than three hours.


Sources also said that similar search was conducted in the outskirts of Colombo including Panadura and Kouhuwela Saturday night.
