Sri Lanka Government Armed Forces have intensified the slaughter of Tamils in so-called Safe Zone and Australian Tamils are holding a Candle Light Vigil in Sydney City asking Australian Government to call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire.

The Sri Lankan government has created a "no-fire" zone is northern Sri Lanka as a refuge for civilians in the ongoing conflict. But a video sent to Al Jazeera by Tamil sources appears to confirm that it is failing to keep ordinary people safe. Al Jazeera's Lucy Keating reports.
