Tharisanam TV launches Tamil Box Office Channel 

Tharisanam TV is proud to announce the commencement of Tamil Box Office. SR TV, who provide the highest quality Tamil Box Office Service to the Tamil Community in Europe, Canada and USA have now partnered Tharisanam TV to bring the same Box Office Entertainment Channel to the Tamil Community of Australia and New Zealand. This Entertainment Channel will serve as Tharisanam TV - Channel 2 in the new line up. The movies on this channel will consist of brand new films and  selected classics from an extensive vault spanning over  20 years.

Tharisanam TV is a manifestation of the indomitable spirit of the Tamil people. The Australian Tamil community desires to maintain a successful, high quality television service to portray and reflect the aspirations and cultural identity of the Tamil people of this world. Tharisanam TV came into existence to satisfy this irrepressible need.

Tharisanam TV is founded after sound financial analysis of the project and is governed by a group with extensive experience in multi-national business processes and a sound record of fiscal discipline. Extensive community support and a good mix of adult maturity and youthful enthusiasm have also helped in the conception and rapid execution of the business process required in the setup of this new Tamil Television Service.
Tharisanam TV will go to air as a subscription based service very soon. The service will operate on the Optus B3 Satellite service with a footprint covering all of Australia and New Zealand. Once programming schedules and contractual obligations are satisfied the details would be made available.
