Sri Lankan Government spin doctoring on Australian Senate Resolution on Janaka Perera |

 Spin doctoring is not a new tool for any Sri Lankan High Commissioner to Australia, but it is interesting to see the new High Commissioner Senaka C.B. Walgampaya President Consul too practice it perfectly like his predecessors. The Upper House of the Australian Parliament, the Senate has passed a Resolution on the death of Janaka Perara with Seven main ( a to g ) items on 16th October 2008. The last 2 items in the resolution ( f and g ) are critical about Sri Lankan Governments genocidal war against Tamil Minorities.
They are,
(f) expresses its deep concern about increasing violence in Sri Lanka and the worsening humanitarian situation; and (g) urges all parties in Sri Lanka to work towards a political solution that meets the legitimate aspirations of all Sri Lankans.
Sri Lankan Government Officials spin doctored and used only the first 5 items of the senate resolution in their websites , media releases etc. and It is sad that Australian senators are influenced by these canberra based Sri lankan diplomats hidden agenda, espionage or Interference, an analyst said.
