Sunday 13th April: Tamil New Year, Vishu Punyakalam 1008 Sanghu Abhishekam for Sri Varasiddhi Vinayakar Starts at 8am with Maha Ganapaty Pooja, Trisathi Homam, Maha Abhishekam etc. and concludes with procession of Lord Ganesa around the temple around 1.30pm. Devotees are requested to sponsor one sangu (konch) at $10 only. Tickets at temple counter. All are welcome. Sunday 20th April : Ugaadi Habba Festival organized by Sydney Kannada Ugaadi Committee. Starts 10am with special pooja for Lord Venkateswara, followed by Shri Sarvadhari Namasamvatsara panchanga shravana, bevu bella, then prasada. All are welcome. Monday 14th April: Sri Ramanavami Pooja Starts at 10am with Abhishekam for Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, then Kalyana Utsavam, followed by Deeparadhana, archanas & prasadams Friday 25th April (Anzac Day Holiday): Sri Ramanavami Festival Celebrations organized by Global Organisation for Divinity, Sydney. Starts at 10.30am with Chanting by Community Groups on Vishnu Sahasranama & Hanuman Chalisa. Followed by Cultural Program on Ramanayana, Music, Dances, Children's activities. Parents are invited to bring their children dressed up as Sri Rama/Sita or Hanuman & win prizes! Prasadams for lunch at 1pm. Bhajans continue beyond that. All are welcome! Sunday 27th April (long weekend): Meenakshi Kalyanam. Kalyana Utsavam for Sri Tripurasundari at 2pm. All Saturdays 10.30am, as usual, special Abhishekam is performed for Sri Balaji, followed by Satyanarayana Pooja or Homams by sponsoring families! Amazing April Ahead!
