 Actor Nanda and actresses Mathumeetha celebrated Thai Pongal with the Tharisanam Staff at the London Office. The artists who came to London to attend the White Pigeon’s Mega musical night held at the Alexandra Hall on the 12th visited the Tharisanam London office and celebrated the Thai Pongal day with the staff. This festival is celebrated by all Tamils as it is non-relevance to any particular religious faith. The whole Tamil population of the world celebrates it without any differences. Therefore it is widely known as "Tamil Thai Pongal" or the "Festival of the Tamils".
Both artists are very popular among the Sri Lankan Tamils after their performance in the hit film ‘Aani Vaer’ which was filmed in Killinochchi.
